Removal and installation finishing and main dashboards of sections

The models of cars considered in the present manual are equipped with system of additional safety (SRS). Before starting performance of any works near the block of a safety cushion, a steering column or the dashboard, disconnect SRS in order to avoid getting injured at its casual operation (see. Onboard electric equipment). It is easy to distinguish an electrical wiring of a chain of SRS on yellow color of isolation.

Dashboard design

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

2. Disconnect safety cushions (see. Onboard electric equipment).
3. Remove a steering wheel (see the Head Podvesk and steering).
4. Remove a casing of a steering column (see the Section Removal and installation of a casing of a steering column).
5. Paste over with a protective film of an overlay of forward racks (address an illustration above), it will protect them at removal.
6. Remove handles of opening of a cowl and the hatch of the fuel tank.
7. Uncover the block of safety locks.
8. Give fixture of the lower central cover and remove it.
9. Disconnect an air duct No. 2.
10. Give fixture of the DLC socket No. 3 and the block of safety locks.
11. Remove the lower panel No. 1.
12. Remove an overlay of a combination of devices and remove a combination of devices.
13. Remove the lower overlay of the central section of finishing of the dashboard together with hours.
14. Having wound the screw-driver with an insulating tape, unhook 2 latches and remove a coaster.
15. Remove an ashtray.
16. Give fixture central section of finishing of the dashboard with the control panel of a heater and disconnect conducting.
17. Turn out screws of fastening of the control panel of a back heater.
18. Remove the radio tape recorder, a cover of a ware box, the panel of a loudspeaker and a loudspeaker, forward and back sections of the central console.
19. Unscrew 5 screws and 9 bolts of fastening of the main section of the dashboard.
20. Remove an intensifying bar, an arm and the main section of the dashboard.
21. Installation is made upside-down.
