Replacement of lamps

Flasks of lamps remain hot within about 20 minutes after shutdown of lighting fixtures. Before getting to work make sure that components finally cooled down.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

If the stereosystem established on the car is equipped with a security code before disconnecting the battery make sure that you have the correct combination for input of the audio system in action!

Forward marker lights and indexes of turns

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Turn out the top screw of fastening of assembly of a forward marker light (address an accompanying illustration).
2. Remove assembly of a marker light and disconnect from it an electrical wiring.
3. Having turned a cartridge of a lamp counterclockwise, take it from a casing of lantern assembly.
4. For extraction of a lamp from the boss pull it parallel to an assembly axis.
5. Installation is made upside-down.

The back combined lamps

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a lens of lantern assembly (address an accompanying illustration).
2. For replacement of a lamp of the index of turn or a stoplight just turn it counterclockwise and take from a lamp holder.

On some models of a lamp are taken from the back party of lantern assembly for what the last needs to be dismantled.

3. For the purpose of ensuring access to a lamp of fire of a backing remove a plastic cover (address an accompanying illustration).
4. For removal of the combined lamp assembled disconnect from it an electrical wiring (address an accompanying illustration).
5. Installation is made upside-down.

Illumination of registration plate

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At will a car back also establish to a poddomkratta it on props. Find a lamp of illumination of registration plate from the back party of the bumper assembly, in case of need use a pocket small lamp.
2. For extraction of the boss turn it counterclockwise and pull outside from a lamp casing. On models 4Runner turn out screws of fastening of a lens of a lamp.
3. For extraction of a lamp pull it strictly parallel to the boss's axis.
4. Installation is made upside-down.

Illumination of the control panel of functioning of systems of heating/air conditioning

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the corresponding section of finishing of the dashboard (see the Head Kuzov).
2. Having pulled, release the failed lamp from the boss.
3. Installation is made upside-down.

Dashboard illumination

You watch that replaceable lamps corresponded on the performance data (power consumption) failed. Remember that lamps of illumination of measuring instruments have higher power, than indicator lamps.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a combination of devices (see the Section Removal and installation of a combination of devices).
2. Turn assembly of a lamp with the boss counterclockwise and take it from assembly of a combination of devices.
3. Having pulled a lamp outside, take it from the boss.
4. Installation is made upside-down.
